Optimal protection
The safety block is a compact device, which protects an accumulator against excessive pressure. The safety block is also used to isolate the accumulator from the hydraulic system for instance during maintenance work or to discharge the accumulator to the reservoir at a pre-set pressure.

Ease of maintenance
With a safety block in your system the accumulator pre-charge pressure can easily be checked on the system fluid side without engaging the accumulator. Another benefit is that replacement of the bladder/sealings can be made without shutting-off the hydraulic system.
CE-approval
A sealed CE-approved pressure relief valve with pre-set maximum working pressure 210, 250, 330 or 350 bar protects the accumulator against unintended high pressure due to high outer temperature, e.g. fire, or outer cylinder overload protection.
